ABOUT MICHELE
Michele has been practicing law for over 13 years and finds deep satisfaction working one-on-one with clients. After working at some of the most prestigious law firms and the D.C. Court of Appeals, Michele decided to harness her talents and passion to serve the singles’ community. After the surprisingly emotional process of drafting the documents and having the difficult conversations to set up her legacy and preparations in case of emergency medical situations, Michele knew she had a unique set of legal skills and life experiences to share with other singles.
Michele has a recognized history of advocating for singles, human rights, and civil rights. From the ACLU of North Carolina to the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law to serving a senior member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Michele’s passion for service is unimpeachable. At a time when being single was seen as a personal failure, Michele hosted a podcast to dispel the shame around being single, generated new concepts and language around being single, and created community among singles. From living abroad for two years, advocating for human rights and democracy, Michele also understands the unique needs of American singles in foreign countries.
